LAHORE: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Khatak has directed police officers to intensify province-wide search operations to bust hardened criminals and anti-state elements.The action was ordered ahead of Eidul Fitr to implement the security plan devised for religious places and sensitive installations besides important official buildings.
The IGP directed district police officers to supervise the ongoing operations against the outlaws in their areas.
Also, divisional superintendents of police have been directed to intensify patrolling on major roads of the city followed by search and combing operations.
