Director General Sports board Punjab Police, Additional IGP Establishment Punjab, Capt. (R) Arif Nawaz has said that to promote positive and healthy activities in Punjab Police and to encourage players, inter-region sports tournament 2017 will be organized starting from April 15th which will continue till May 05 in different districts of Punjab. Teams of all regions of Punjab Police will participate in 21 days long tournament with 27 games including Volley ball, Kabaddi (Circle style), Taekwondo, Handball, Swimming, Athletics, Rifle shooting, Ju-jitsu, Karate, Judo, wrestling, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Badminton , Cricket, Wushu, Boxing, Kabaddi (Asian style) Rugby, Weightlifting, Bodybuilding, Arm wrestling, Football, Rowing, Power lifting, Tug of War and Hockey. These competitions will be organized at police training college Farooqabad, Faisalabad, Elite Police Training school Lahore, Police Training College Chung, Multan, DG khan, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sahiwal, Rawalpindi and Sarghoda district as per schedule. (R) Arif Nawaz has issued directions to all RPOs and Unit heads to complete all necessary arrangements for making this tournament a success.
