IGP Punjab paid surprise visit to front desks established in police stations of Rawalpindi...

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera this morning, paid surprise visit of three police stations in Rawalpindi. During his visit RPO Rawalpindi, Wissal Fakhar Sultan accompanied the IGP.

 

IGP visited the front desks established in three police stations including Civil Lines, Cantt: and Waris Khan police stations. He expressed his satisfaction over the arrangements which were made for these front desks.

While talking to the civilian staff of these front desks, IGP said that they should work with a view to provide a respectable and friendly environment to complainants so that the unnecessarily interference of the SHOs and Moharrirs could be stopped. He also directed the staff of front desks, they should refrain themselves to involve the SHOs and Moharrirs in any complaint lodged by the citizens. The IGP further directed that if some Senior Station Assistant (SSA) or Police Station Assistant (PSA) founded to be indulge in getting SHO and Mohorrirs involvement in any received complaint, his / her contract will immediately be cancelled.

 

 

IGP, directed RPO Rawalpindi on this occasion that he himself monitor these front desks consecutively so that the people of Rawalpindi could get properly avail this facility which is being provided in 18 police stations of Rawalpindi region.
