Inspector General Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has awarded shields and appreciation certificates to the faculty of Lahore School of Management to acknowledge their services for training Police Station Assistants selected for Front Desks project on merit, in a ceremony held at Central Police Office today.

Teachers from Leadership and Management Development Associates department of Lahore School of Management, Dr. Ali Sajid, Prof. M.A Rufruf, Dr. Sagheer Ahmad, Prof. Taqi Shah, Lt. Commander Shawaiz, Prof. Aon Mehdi, Prof. Zaib Suharwardy, Col. Hassan Khawar and other trainers participated in the ceremony. These trainers have provided professional training to the 1500 I.T graduates selected on merit to work on Front Desks established across Punjab.

While addressing to the participants, IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera said, Front Desks project has proved to be a milestone in changing typical “thana culture”. Services of the teachers from Leadership and Management Development Associates department of Lahore School of Management are appreciable as this project has invigorated the police-public relation.

AIG Finance, Hussain Habib Imtiaz also acknowledged the contribution of LDMA LSM’s training on soft-skills, I.T trained leadership and motivation to transform more than 1500 newly inducted police officials. Services of LSM to support in changing typical thana culture and to revive police-public relations, will always be remembered in history of Punjab Police, he added.
