15 police complaint centre staff to be trained

LAHORE - Inspector General of Police Punjab Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has issued the directions for training of 15 police complaint centre’s operators across Punjab with a view to ensure quick response to all receiving calls by complainants, their immediate response and polite behaviour.

These instructions were passed to telecommunication officers who attended a meeting held in this connection under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Punjab. 

It was decided in the meeting that a proper summary would be sent to the government for getting approval to deploy the security officials of Special Protection Unit (SPU) with the honourable judges of Supreme and High Courts along with the high risk personalities.

It was also decided that all IT initiatives taken by the Punjab Police, including CHC, HRMS, 8787, Digital Beat Books and CRO Computerisation would be displayed at a fair held under the auspices of Judicial Academy, Lahore on July 29, 2016. DIG IT, Shahid Hanif was directed by the IGP to ensure the participation of Punjab Police in this fair.
