LAHORE - Six bookmakers allegedly involved in betting on IPL matches were arrested by the Sandha police on Friday. The arrested men were identified as Irfan, Tahir, Faisal, Abdul Hameed, Aamir and Muhammad Amjad.
Police recovered Rs150,000 in cash, ten cell phones, four wrist watches and other articles from them.
Police said the accused were involved in several cases of betting on IPL and football matches. Further investigation is underway.
