On the directive of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif to establish a new Command and Control system in Lahore, a two member delegation from UK called on Inspector General of Police Punjab, Javed Iqbal in Central Police Office today.
The delegation comprising of Mr. Tariq Ghafoor, former Chief of Operations London metro police and Dr. Amnat Hussain who has vast experience of establishment of command and control system in London and Dubai. The delegation will be stayed in provincial metropolis for a period of three weeks.
Keeping in view the advice of the IGP the delegation will locate and pin-point the appropriate places in the city, where CCTV Cameras would be got installed. The delegation told the IGP that the system they are going to introduce in the city will be helpful and beneficial in curbing the crimes and controlling the traffic in Lahore. The delegation will also visit various sections of Police Department and meet the senior police officers during their stay in Lahore.
Addl. IG Training Punjab Sarmad Saeed, CCPO Lahore Muhammad Aslam tareen, DIG Oprs Rao Sardar Ali and DIG Principal Training School Chung, Muhammad Akram Naeem Bharoka were also present in the meeting.
