Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Javed Iqbal has held DSP Tahir Bashir, then SDPO Sadar, Jhelum, guilty of charges of unsatisfactory performance in arrest of P.Os; and disposal of pending investigation cases, particularly of heinous offenses.
After giving full opportunity to DSP Tahir Bashir, to defend charges leveled against him, the Inspector General of Police, Punjab, has ordered the minor punishment of stoppage of one increment for three years.
