Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mohammad Habib-ur-Rehman appreciated the DPO Vehari and his team for safe recovery of 3 years Usman of Burewala from kidnappers. He said that aggressive policing policy will be continued to eliminate the criminals from the province.
According to details few days back a complainant namely Imran Khan came to Police Station of city Burewala regarding missing of his 3 years old son named Usman. Police became operational and active but there was no ransom call. Yesterday, the complainant received a call from the kidnappers who demanded Rs.01 crore ransom but both agreed at Rs.50 Lac and decided to pay and get the kidnapee at 9:00 p.m. DPO Vehari and his team asked the complainant to postpone it till 11:00 p.m. afterward under a sensible strategy police cordoned off the area of handing over of abductee from kidnapers. Finally police very successfully recovered Usman alongwith Rs.45 Lacs from kidnapers. The kidnapers who belong to Sahiwal have confessed everything in presence of police.
