LAHORE:Inspector General of Police (IGP), Punjab, Abdul Kareem met police personnel and their family members at the Central Police Office and issued orders for immediate relief on their applications regarding welfare, medical assistance, accommodation and transfers. The IGP listened to the problems of the cops and their families and directed the relevant officers to take prompt action on their requests.On the application of the father of late Constable Farhan Tariq for payment of his son's outstanding dues, the IGP directed the Additional IG Welfare and Finance to examine the matter. On the request of Head Constable Muhammad Afzal for financial assistance for the medical treatment of his wife, he issued directions to the Additional IG Welfare and Finance.
Similarly, on the application of Head Constable Muhammad Saifal seeking financial assistance for medical treatment, the Additional IG Welfare and Finance was directed to provide relief. On the request of Traffic Assistant Arsalan Ali for official accommodation, the same officer was directed to examine the matter. The IGP also directed the Additional IG Punjab to provide relief on the transfer application of NaibQasid Ali Raza and issued similar instructions regarding the transfer application of NaibQasid Aqsa Jabeen.He also issued orders on other applications concerning discipline, administration, promotion and welfare.
