Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem met police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab listened the problems of police employees and their family members and issued directions to the concerned officers for immediate relief. According to details, on the request of Constable Muhammad Akram’s son to declare his father a martyr, IG Punjab directed the DIG Welfare and Finance to consider the matter. On the requests of Constables Mazhar Hussain, Inayat, Muhammad Rafiq and Ali Kamran for medical financial assistance, the DIG Welfare and Finance was directed to provide relief. On the request of retired Sub-Inspector Irshad Ali regarding cancellation of a case, IG Punjab directed the RPO Multan to take necessary action. On the request of Sub-Inspector Faisal Ali regarding promotion, the DIG SPU was directed to provide relief. On the promotion request of Lady Sub-Inspector Anum Saleem, the Additional IG Punjab was directed to consider the matter. On the request of Senior Traffic Warden Muhammad Nawaz regarding recovery, the Additional IG Investigation Punjab was directed to take necessary action. On the request of the father of late Constable Samuel Masih for payment of his son’s outstanding dues, directions were issued to the Additional IG Welfare and Finance. On the transfer request of Head Constable Shoukat Hayat, the DIG Establishment-II was directed to provide relief, while on the transfer request of ASI Naveed Shahzad, the DIG Establishment-I was directed to consider the matter. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem also issued orders on other applications related to discipline, administration, promotion and welfare.
