Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Javed Iqbal has directed to Senior Officers of the Police Department for offering Fateha and floral wreaths laying at the graves of those police officers/officials who had scarified their lives during official duties so that rich tribute could be paid to them in connection with 23rd March.
On the instructions of IGP, Senior Police Officers will pay visit the residences of the families of Shuhda. They will inquire their health and will also present gifts and Commendation Certificates. On this occasion, in all Police Lines of Punjab Police Department seminars and other programmes will be arranged in which people from different sections of society will participate. Different programmes, functions and ceremonies will also be arranged to pay rich tributes of Shuhda in which the families of Shuhda and retired police officers will participate on the said instructions of IGP.
