Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem met with police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab listened to the issues of police employees and their family members and issued directions to the concerned officers for immediate relief. According to details, on the request of the widow of martyred Sub-Inspector Tariq Mehmood regarding change of plot, IG Punjab directed Additional IG Welfare and Finance to consider the matter. On the request of Driver Constable Tariq Mehmood regarding medical financial assistance, directions were issued to Assistant Director Welfare. On the request of ASI Muhammad Irfan regarding cancellation of transfer, DIG Establishment-I was directed to provide relief.
On the request of Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ali regarding promotion, Additional IG Training was directed to consider the matter. On the request of the widow of late DSP Tahir Zain-ul-Abideen regarding payment of outstanding dues, Additional IG Welfare and Finance was issued directions. On the request of Lady Junior Clerk Mehwish Adeel regarding official accommodation, AIG Development was directed to consider the matter. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem also issued orders on other applications related to discipline, administration, promotion and welfare.
