71 Sub-Inspectors Promoted to the Rank of Inspector. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem Congratulated Promoted Officers and Expressed Best Wishes for Their Future.
On the directions of Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem, the promotion process of officers and officials in Punjab Police is continued. A meeting of the Promotion Board was held under the chairmanship of Additional IG Punjab Imran Arshad, in which 71 Sub-Inspectors who fulfilled the merit and rules and regulations were promoted to the rank of Inspector. Punjab Police spokesperson said that the first phase of the Promotion Board meeting has been completed, in which 300 cases were considered. The promoted officers include 07 Sub-Inspectors from Lahore, 19 from Rawalpindi, 08 from Multan, 02 from Bahawalpur, 01 from Sahiwal, 02 from DG Khan, 08 from Gujranwala, 03 from Gujrat, 11 from Faisalabad, 04 from Sheikhupura and 06 from Sargodha.
IG Punjab Abdul Kareem congratulated the officers promoted to the rank of Inspector and expressed his best wishes for their future. IG Punjab directed the promoted officers to serve Pakistanis selflessly and protect them fearlessly. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that the second phase of the Promotion Board meeting will be held in the next few days, in which more than 300 additional cases for promotion to the rank of Inspector will be considered. DIG Establishment-II Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Headquarters Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, DIG Establishment-I Abdul Qadir Qamar, AIG Discipline, AIG Legal and other concerned officers attended the Promotion Board meeting.
