Punjab Police continues to provide homes to the families of its martyrs,
Two houses worth a total of Rs. 17.5 million have been provided to the two families of Shaheed ASI Muhammad Akbar,
The houses were purchased, according to the preference of the martyr's families, in two different localities of Multan, Punjab Police spokesperson.
Punjab Police continues its mission of providing residential accommodation to the families of its martyrs. Two families of Shaheed Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Akbar, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, have been provided with two houses worth a total of Rs. 17.5 million. Punjab Police spokesperson said that, in accordance with the preferences of the martyr's families, the houses were purchased in two different localities of Multan. The Government of Punjab released the required funds for the provision of the houses to the martyr's families. It is pertinent to mention that Shaheed ASI Muhammad Akbar embraced martyrdom in 2024 after coming under attack by accused persons during a police raid. Shaheed ASI Muhammad Akbar is survived by two wives, three sons and one daughter.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, paid tribute to the everlasting sacrifice of Shaheed ASI Muhammad Akbar and said that ASI Muhammad Akbar embraced martyrdom while performing his duties without caring for his own life. He said that Punjab Police will never forget the supreme sacrifice of its brave son. Abdul Kareem further said that Punjab Police is the custodian of the legacy of 1,743 martyrs like Shaheed ASI Muhammad Akbar, and the welfare of the families of its martyrs remains the foremost priority of Punjab Police.
