Punjab Police remains committed to providing residential accommodation to the families of its brave martyrs. Another family of a police martyr, Shaheed Constable Anas Sattar, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, has been provided with a house worth Rs. 13.5 million. Punjab Police spokesperson said that, in accordance with the family's preference, a house was purchased for them in a private housing society in Multan. Government of Punjab released the required funds for the provision of the house to the martyr's family. It is pertinent to mention that Shaheed Constable Anas Sattar embraced martyrdom by firing of dacoits in 2024 while performing his official duties in the Katcha area. Shaheed Constable Anas Sattar is survived by his wife and one son.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, paid tribute to the everlasting sacrifice of Shaheed Constable Anas Sattar and said that Constable Anas Sattar embraced martyrdom while performing his duties without caring for his own life. He said that Punjab Police will never forget the supreme sacrifice of its brave son. Abdul Kareem further said that Punjab Police is the custodian of the legacy of more than 1,700 martyrs like Shaheed Constable Anas Sattar, and the best welfare of the families of its martyrs remains the foremost priority of Punjab Police.
