Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem met police personnel and their family members at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab listened to the issues raised by the police personnel and their family members and issued immediate directions to the relevant officers to provide prompt relief. According to the details, on the application of Sub-Inspector Qasim Abbas seeking financial assistance for medical treatment, IG Punjab directed the Additional IG Welfare & Finance to take necessary action. On Constable Muhammad Ejaz's request for cancellation of his transfer, the DIG Establishment-II was directed to place the matter under consideration. On the application submitted by the widow of late Constable Khizar Hayat regarding the recruitment of her son, the Additional IG Welfare & Finance was directed to provide relief. On the appeal submitted by Driver Constable Zabih Ullah, the Additional IG Punjab was directed to place the matter under consideration. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem also issued directions on other applications relating to discipline, administration, promotion, and welfare issues.
