LAHORE:Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz have continued to provide modern digital services to citizens, with more than 2.277 million people availing various facilities so far this year. According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, over 864,000 citizens obtained general police verification, while more than 438,000 received police character certificates. Around 551,000 citizens completed tenant registration. The spokesperson said more than 90,000 citizens obtained medico-legal certificates, while over 58,000 individuals from vulnerable groups were provided legal and social protection under ongoing initiatives. Additionally, 17,396 citizens availed vehicle verification services, 48,307 registered lost document reports, and 1,817 lodged crime reports. More than 124,000 citizens received copies of FIRs, while 37 cases of women’s violence were registered. Similarly, over 80,000 citizens completed employee registration (ROPE), and 1,632 obtained police verification for private employment. The IGP said Khidmat Marakaz are a flagship public service delivery initiative providing 24/7 facilities to citizens. He directed that courteous and professional behaviour must be ensured at Khidmat Marakaz, police stations, and all public dealing offices.
