IG Punjab Abdul Kareem Appreciates the Winning Teams, Directs Inclusion of Outstanding Players in Police Sports Teams
The annual Inter-District Sports Competitions organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Police Sports Board are progressing with great enthusiasm and sporting spirit. In this regard, competitions in hockey, badminton, cricket, and tug of war were held in the Sheikhupura Region. Teams from District Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, Special Branch, RMP, and Traffic Police participated in these competitions and displayed excellent sportsmanship. Providing details, the spokesperson of Punjab Police said that District Sheikhupura teams delivered outstanding performances and secured first position in all games held in the Sheikhupura Region. RMP secured second position in hockey, cricket, and tug of war, while Traffic Police Sheikhupura secured second position in badminton. Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem, while appreciating all the winning teams and players, said that players showing outstanding performance in the Inter-District Competitions should be selected and included in various sports teams of Punjab Police. Chief Sports Officer Athar Ismail Amjad said that such sports events will continue in the future as well to promote positive sporting trends and healthy activities.
