IG Punjab Directs CPO Rawalpindi to Ensure Immediate Arrest of Firing Suspects
Inspector General of Punjab Police Abdul Kareem took notice of the incident in which two persons were killed due to firing over a financial dispute in Peer Mehar Ali Shah Town, Dhamaial Police Station area, Rawalpindi, and has sought a report from the RPO Rawalpindi. IG Punjab directed the CPO Rawalpindi to ensure the immediate arrest of the suspects involved in the double murder case. IGP Punjab said that all available resources should be utilized to apprehend those involved. Punjab Police spokesperson said that senior police officers, a heavy police contingent, and forensic teams reached the scene immediately and collected evidence from the site. CPO Rawalpindi said that teams have been formed to arrest the suspects, and they will be apprehended soon.
