Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz are actively providing modern and digital facilities to citizens. So far this year, more than 1.565 million citizens have obtained various services from police Khidmat Marakaz. Punjab Police spokesperson, while sharing details, said that more than 605,000 citizens got general police verification, while more than 313,000 citizens were issued police character certificates. Similarly, more than 359,000 citizens completed rental registration. Medical legal certificates were issued to 55,107 citizens, and under ongoing measures for vulnerable groups, more than 42,000 individuals were provided legal and social protection.
Punjab Police spokesperson further said that 13,707 citizens completed vehicle verification, 34,898 citizens reported lost document registrations, and 1,327 citizens registered crime reports. More than 74,000 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, and 23 women violence reports were registered. Similarly, 65,226 citizens completed employee registration (ROPE), and 950 citizens obtained police verification for private employment. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem said that Police Khidmat Marakaz are a flagship public service delivery project where citizens are being provided 24/7 facilities. He directed that polite and courteous behavior must be ensured with citizens at police Khidmat Marakaz, police stations, and public places.
