On the directions of President All Pakistan Police Sports Board, IG Punjab Abdul Kareem, the annual inter-district sports competitions are underway, in continuation of which exciting Kabaddi matches were held between teams of various police units at Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh Lahore. In the Kabaddi competitions, Sports Wing Lahore delivered an outstanding performance and secured first position, while the team of General Duty Lahore remained in second position. The players presented the game with great enthusiasm and demonstrated excellent performance.
IG Punjab Abdul Kareem appreciated the performance of the teams and players securing prominent positions and commended them. He said that players showing the best performance will be included in the Pakistan Police Kabaddi Team so that a positive image of the police can be highlighted at the national level. IG Punjab further said that sports activities promote teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness in the police force, which also enhances professional capabilities.
