On the directions of President All Pakistan Police Sports Board, Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem, the annual inter-district sports competitions are continue, and in continuation of these events, wrestling, Wushu and weightlifting competitions were held at Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh, Lahore, in which players from various units participated enthusiastically and demonstrated outstanding performance. Punjab Police spokesperson, while sharing details, said that in wrestling competitions, Sports Wing Lahore secured first position, Anti-Riot Force secured second, while SPU secured third position. In Wushu competitions, Police Lines Lahore secured first, Dolphin Force secured second, and Anti-Riot Force secured third position. Furthermore, in weightlifting, Sports Wing Lahore secured first, Anti-Riot Force secured second, and Elite Squad Lahore secured third position. Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem appreciated and congratulated the players who secured prominent positions. Chief Sports Officer Athar Ismail Amjad said that through inter-district tournaments, talented players will be selected to form strong police teams for each sport. He further said that players of the police teams, through their best performance, will also be able to secure positions in national teams.
