Major joint operation by Punjab Police Rahim Yar Khan and Military Intelligence: Notorious dacoit Ahmad Bukhraani, with a head money of PKR 10 million, surrenders

 

Punjab Police Rahim Yar Khan and Military Intelligence achieved a major success during a joint operation by securing the surrender most wanted and notorious dacoit Ahmad Bukhraani from the Katcha area. It is noteworthy that the Government of Punjab had fixed a bounty of PKR 10 million on his head. Due to sustained pressure, effective strategy, and coordinated actions by law enforcement agencies, the accused was compelled to lay down his arms and surrender himself to the law. DPO Rahim Yar Khan Irfan Ali Samo said that, so far, 24 high-profile dacoits carrying head money have surrendered. He further added that during the Katcha operation, 66 dangerous dacoits have been killed, 101 arrested in injured condition, while 320 have surrendered. He emphasized that the operation will continue without interruption until the arrest or surrender of the last dacoit, and the writ of the state will be ensured at all costs. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem, while commending Rahim Yar Khan Police on the surrender of the notorious dacoit with PKR 10 million head money, directed that successful operations against Katcha criminals be further accelerated. He reiterated the resolve that indiscriminate action against criminal elements will continue and the protection of life and property of citizens will be ensured at all costs.
