Punjab Police Khidmat Markaz are actively engaged in providing modern and digital facilities to citizens. During the current year so far, more than 1.322 million citizens have availed various services from Police Khidmat Marakaz. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing details, said that more than 507,000 citizens obtained general police verification, while over 266,000 citizens were issued police character certificates. Similarly, more than 310,000 citizens completed tenant registration. A total of 43,724 citizens were issued medico-legal certificates, and under initiatives for vulnerable groups, more than 35,000 individuals were provided legal and social protection. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that 11,548 citizens obtained vehicle verification, 29,410 citizens registered document loss reports, while 1,029 citizens registered crime reports. A total of 58,272 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, and 20 women violence reports were registered. Similarly, 57,535 citizens completed employee registration (ROPE), and 765 citizens obtained police verification for private employment. Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, said that Police Khidmat Markaz are an excellent flagship project of public service delivery, where citizens are being provided facilities round the clock (24/7). He directed that courteous and polite behavior should be adopted with citizens at Police Khidmat Marakaz, police stations, and public places.
