Bandit carrying Rs 10 million head money surrenders

Punjab Police Rahim Yar Khan has achieved a significant success during an ongoing intelligence-based operation in the katcha area. As a result of police pressure, notorious dacoit Gora Umrani surrendered along with his accomplice and handed himself over to the law. The spokesperson of Punjab Police, while providing details, said that the Government of Punjab had fixed a reward of Rs 10 million for the arrest of Gora Umrani, dead or alive. Furthermore, his accomplice Farooq Umrani also surrendered and handed himself over to the law. Both criminals have been taken into custody for legal proceedings. DPO Rahim Yar Khan Irfan Ali Samo said that this success is the result of joint efforts of Punjab Police and Sindh Police, which has helped in establishing law and order in the riverine area. He vowed that the operation against katcha criminals will continue without interruption. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem, while appreciating the efforts of DPO Rahim Yar Khan and his team for ensuring the surrender of notorious dacoits, said that operations against criminal elements will be further intensified.
