Central Police Office: Ceremony for distribution of modern laptops among children of police martyrs

IG Punjab Abdul Kareem distributed modern laptops among 41 children of police martyrs.

Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, distributed modern laptops among 41 children of police martyrs during a ceremony held at the Central Police Office. The recipients included male and female students enrolled in modern academic programs such as medical, engineering, and information technology. IG Punjab, said on this occasion that so far, 308 children of police martyrs have been provided with laptops through Punjab Police welfare funds, while 106 children have also been provided laptops during the current year. He said that modern laptops will play an important role in the educational and professional careers of students as well as in skills development. IG Punjab further said that all available resources are being utilized for the welfare and well-being of the families of police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the country and the nation. Scholarships are also being provided to the children of police martyrs for higher education in national and international educational institutions. Punjab Police spokesperson said that among the recipients of laptops, 15 are from Lahore; 03 each from Sialkot, Rahim Yar Khan, and Jhang; 02 each from Nankana Sahib, Sargodha, and Khanewal. Similarly, one student each from Gujranwala, Narowal, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Multan, Pakpattan, Attock, Faisalabad, Special Branch, and Telecommunication Punjab were also given laptops. At the end of the ceremony, IG Punjab expressed best wishes for the academic success of the students and prayed for their bright future.
