Evacuation of illegally residing foreign nationals continues across Punjab

Punjab Police have deported more than 33,000 illegal foreign nationals, including Afghan nationals: Spokesperson Punjab Police.

LAHORE  -  The process of evacuation of foreign nationals illegally residing across Punjab is continuing steadily. Giving details, the spokesperson of Punjab Police said that so far more than 33,000 illegal foreign nationals, including Afghan nationals, have been deported from across the province, including Lahore, while 349 illegally residing individuals are present at various holding points. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that among those deported, 12,565 are men, 6,695 are women, and 13,760 are children. Among those deported, 10,505 possess proof of residence, 11,100 are Afghan Citizen Card holders, while 11,416 are illegally residing foreign nationals. Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem said that security across the province is on high alert and the repatriation of all illegally residing individuals is being ensured.
