The process of promotions for officers and personnel in Punjab Police is continuing,
and 129 Inspectors have been promoted to the rank of DSP, Spokesperson for Punjab Police.

On the directives of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, the promotion process in the Punjab Police is progressing swiftly. As part of this process, a Promotion Board meeting for the elevation of Inspectors to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) was held at the Central Police Office under the chairmanship of Additional IG Punjab, Imran Arshad. The spokesperson for Punjab Police said that in accordance with rules, regulations, and merit, 86 officers were promoted on a regular basis while 40 officers were promoted on an officiating basis, and three DSPs were also directed to continue working on an officiating basis.

The Promotion Board meeting was attended by DIG Establishment-I Suleman Sultan Rana, DIG Headquarters Dr. Muhammad Abid Khan, Registrar Humair Ahmad Qureshi, along with relevant officers from the Home Department and Regulation Wing. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem congratulated the promoted officers and directed them to serve the people of Pakistan selflessly and ensure the fearless protection of the country.
