IG Punjab Directs Immediate Action Against Perpetrators, Ensures Full Care for Family of Martyred Officer
Another brave Punjab Police officer has attained the noble rank of martyrdom while performing his duties. Punjab Police spokesperson, while sharing details, said that Layyah police Constable Asad Naseer was martyred in firing by unidentified motorcyclist assailants at Hera Adda while on duty. Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem, paying tribute to the great sacrifice of Constable Asad Naseer, said that Constable Asad Naseer laid down his life while protecting the lives and property of citizens, and Punjab Police takes pride in the sacrifice of its courageous officer. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem directed RPO DG Khan and DPO Layyah to ensure the immediate arrest of the culprits involved in the incident. IG Punjab said that the perpetrators must be brought to justice at the earliest. IG Punjab further said that the martyr’s family will not be left alone under any circumstances, and their full care and welfare are the responsibility of Punjab Police.
