IG Punjab Abdul Kareem’s Excellent Initiative: Approved the monthly stipend for Police Employees’ Blind Children

Blind children to receive a monthly stipend of PKR 20,000; notification issued

Welfare of police employees’ children is a top priority. IG Punjab

Inspector General of Police Punjab Abdul Kareem has taken another important initiative for the welfare of police employees and their families by approving a monthly stipend for the care of police employees’ blind children. Following the IG Punjab’s directive, the Additional IG Welfare & Finance has also issued a formal notification. Punjab Police spokesperson said that police employees’ blind children will be given a monthly stipend of PKR 20,000. This monthly grant will be provided to the blind children of police employees who are martyrs, currently in service, retired, or have passed away during service, to ensure their better care and meet their essential needs.

IG Punjab Abdul Kareem said that the police force is like a family, and the care of police employees and their children is the foremost priority of Punjab Police. IG Punjab further said that children of police employees affected by thalassemia are already receiving PKR 30,000 per month, while children suffering from cerebral palsy are provided PKR 20,000 per month. In addition, substantial funds are also being allocated for the treatment of police employees’ children affected by various other illnesses, to provide maximum possible support to the affected families.
