Inspector General of Punjab Police Abdul Kareem paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifice of the brave Punjab Police personnel, Constable Faheem Abbas and Constable Shahbaz Madni, who were martyred in a suicide attack at the Dajal Inter-Provincial Check Post, Bhakkar. IG Punjab said that Constable Faheem Abbas and Constable Shahbaz Madni embraced martyrdom in the line of duty while protecting the country and the nation, and by laying down their lives set a shining example of bravery, courage, and devotion to duty. He directed that the injured Constable Muhammad Arshad be provided immediate and the best possible medical treatment. Expressing heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the bereaved families of the martyrs, the IG Punjab said that Punjab Police would never leave the families of its martyrs alone. He added that ensuring the best welfare and complete support for the families of the martyrs is the department’s foremost priority. The IG Punjab further said that every officer of Punjab Police stands like a steel wall against Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan, and that the nefarious designs of terrorist elements will be thwarted at all costs.
