Punjab Police Continues to Pay Tribute to the Eternal Sacrifices of Its Brave Martyrs
Police Officers Honor Shaheed Constable Mudassar Hussain on His 17th Death Anniversary with Salute, Fateha and Tribute
Punjab Police continues, with full devotion and respect, its series of paying tribute to the eternal sacrifices of its great martyrs. In this connection, the 17th death anniversary of Shaheed Constable Mudassar Hussain, posted in Punjab Constabulary and a resident of District Chakwal, was observed. On the occasion of the anniversary, a smartly turned-out contingent of Punjab Constabulary presented a salute at the grave of the Shaheed. Senior officers of Punjab Constabulary Battalion 2, Rawat visited the grave of Shaheed Constable Mudassar Hussain, laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha.
Punjab Police spokesperson said that Shaheed Constable Mudassar Hussain embraced martyrdom in 2009 in Sargodha during a checkpoint duty as a result of firing by criminal elements. This great sacrifice of the Shaheed is a shining example of the supremacy of law and protection of the public. On this occasion, senior officers met the family members of the Shaheed, paid tribute to their courage and patience, and saluted the great sacrifice of the Shaheed. A cheque for financial assistance was also given to the family of the Shaheed by the Battalion Commander.
