IG Punjab Abdul Kareem's directions: Weekly General Parade Held Across Punjab, Including Lahore

On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, weekly general parades were held across the province, including Lahore. Senior police officers inspected the parade, while the participating contingents presented salute. Personnel from Police Lines, Dolphin Force, Anti-Riot Force, Traffic Police, Mujahid Squad, SPU, Ladies Police, Investigation Wing, and Operations Wing of police stations participated actively in the general parade. Punjab Police spokesperson said that during the parade, senior officers also checked the turnout of officers and personnel taking part. Smartly turned-out contingents performed an impressive march-past, while women police personnel also participated in the general parade. Punjab Police spokesperson added that general parades are being held regularly every Monday across the province.
On this occasion, district officers also inspected the Kot, Motor Transport Wing, miscellaneous stores, uniform warehouses, and other relevant sections. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem said that the purpose of the general parade is to keep personnel alert at all times and to promote discipline, unity, and a spirit of brotherhood among them. He said that a parade is the best reflection of any force’s discipline, history, heritage, and traditions. Through general parades, officers and personnel maintain their physical fitness, which further improves the overall performance of the police force.
