Punjab Police is committed to providing residential facilities to the families of its brave martyrs. The family of another martyr, Shaheed Langri Muhammad Munir, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, has been provided with a house worth PKR 13.5 million. Punjab Police spokesperson said that, according to the preference of the martyr’s family, this house was purchased and provided to them in a private housing society in Rahim Yar Khan. Punjab Government released funds for the provision of the house for the martyr’s family. It may be recalled that Shaheed Langri Muhammad Munir embraced martyrdom in 2024 after coming under firing by dacoits in the Katcha area.
The family of Shaheed Langri Muhammad Munir includes his wife and two sons. IG Punjab Rao Abdul Kareem paid rich tribute to the eternal sacrifice of Shaheed Langri Muhammad Munir. IG Punjab said that Langri Muhammad Munir embraced martyrdom while performing his duties without caring for his own life. He said that Punjab Police will never forget the great sacrifice of its brave son. Rao Abdul Kareem further said that Punjab Police is the custodian force of more than 1,700 martyrs like Shaheed Langri Muhammad Munir, and the best welfare of martyrs’ families is the top priority of Punjab Police.
