Punjab Police Continues Welfare Measures for Force and Their Families

Punjab Police Spends Over Rs. 251.526 Million on Welfare of Force and Families in First Month of Year

Punjab Police is actively pursuing welfare measures for the force and their families. In this regard, during the first month of the current year, Punjab Police spent a total amount of more than Rs. 251.526 million on the welfare and well-being of the police force and their families. Punjab Police Spokesperson while sharing details, said that more than Rs. 82.680 million were released under educational scholarships for the children of police employees. More than Rs. 42.880 million were provided to the daughters of police employees in the form of wedding gifts. Similarly, more than Rs. 41 million were released to facilitate medical treatment for police employees and their families, while payments exceeding Rs. 30 million were made to police employees under retirement grants.

Punjab Police Spokesperson further said that more than Rs. 43.540 million in funds were provided to the families of police employees under the maintenance allowance. An amount of Rs. 9.850 million was given to the families of the force under burial expenses, while more than Rs. 1.548 million were released to the police force under immediate financial assistance. Punjab Police is further strengthening welfare measures for the police force and their families so that maximum possible facilities can be provided to the employees.
