IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar Committed to Health Welfare of Police Force and Their Families
Additional Rs 1.96 Million Released for Medical Treatment of Police Employees and Their Families.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is firmly committed for the best health welfare of the Punjab Police force and their families. In continuation of this commitment, additional funds amounting to Rs 1.96 million have been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their family members.
Punjab Police spokesperson shared the details that Rs 0.5 million has been released for the medical treatment of DSP Muhammad Usman. Constable Muhammad Jamshed has also been provided Rs 0.5 million for his wife’s heart surgery. Sanitary worker Raees Inayat has been granted Rs 0.2 million for kidney treatment, while ASI Aman Ullah has been given Rs 01 lakh and 60 thousand rupees for medical expenses. Similarly, retired office superintendent Muhammad Irshad, Sub-Inspector Jafar Raza, Constables Muhammad Ashfaq and Samsoon, and retired constables Sana Ullah and Muhammad Javed Awan have been provided Rs 01 lakh rupees each for medical treatment.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the release of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. He said that under MOUs with various institutions, Punjab Police is also providing the best possible medical facilities to its employees and their families. He further said that more than Rs 27 million is being spent daily across the province on the welfare of the police force and their families, while during the last year, the Central Police Office and all districts collectively spent nearly Rs 8 billion on police welfare.
