Rajanpur Katcha Operation: Two More Highly Wanted Dacoits Surrender; Total Number Reaches 54.

Punjab Police Rajanpur’s non-stop operation against Katcha criminals is continuing successfully. While briefing the details, Punjab Police spokesperson said that during the ongoing vigorous operation in the Katcha area, Rajanpur Police secured the surrender of two more highly wanted dacoits, Abdul Majeed and Ghulam Nabi Umrani. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that during the Rajanpur Police’s Katcha operation, the total number of dacoits who have surrendered so far has reached 54. Those who surrendered include ringleaders of various criminal gangs. The surrendered dacoits were wanted in heinous cases including the martyrdom of police officials, murder, kidnapping, and robbery. The arrested dacoits will be awarded punishment in accordance with the law. DPO Rajanpur Muhammad Imran said that a major police operation is underway in the areas of Katcha Karachi and Katcha Umrani, where the hideouts of dacoits are being targeted with the help of drone technology. During the operation, several hideouts have been destroyed, while many dacoits have also been seriously injured. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has issued instructions to continue actions against Katcha criminals with greater speed and effectiveness.
