Punjab Police’s relentless operation against Katcha criminals in Rajanpur continues successfully. During the ongoing intensive operation in the Katcha area of Rajanpur, 23 more most-wanted dacoits surrendered to the police. Punjab Police spokesperson said that the total number of dacoits who have surrendered so far in the Katcha operation has reached 52. The surrendering criminals include leaders of various criminal gangs and dangerous dacoits wanted in cases of police officer killings, murder, kidnapping for ransom, and robbery. DPO Rajanpur Muhammad Imran said that the surrendered and arrested criminals will be prosecuted under the law and stringent action will continue against all criminal elements without exception. He added that major targeted operations are ongoing in Katcha Karachi and Katcha Umrani, with police using drone technology to locate and strike dacoits’ hideouts. Several hideouts have been destroyed, and multiple criminals were severely injured during these operations. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that the ongoing operations against Katcha criminals should be intensified and carried out more effectively, emphasizing that a zero-tolerance policy against criminal elements will continue to ensure the safety of citizens and their property.
