Police Contingents and Senior Officers Salute Amid Strong Civil Society Participation
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid rich Tribute to the Great Sacrifice of the Martyr
The funeral prayers of Martyred Sub-Inspector Amir Rizwan were held at Police Lines, Sargodha. The funeral was attended in large numbers by RPO Sargodha Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan, Commissioner Sargodha Hafiz Shoukat Ali, DPO Sargodha Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf, senior officers of law enforcement agencies, police officers and personnel, and representatives of civil society. On the occasion, police contingents presented a salute to the mortal remains of the martyr. RPO, Commissioner, and DPO Sargodha met with the family of the martyr, expressed their condolences, and honored the martyr’s sacrifice as a significant asset to the nation. After the funeral prayers, the body of Martyred Sub-Inspector Amir Rizwan was sent to his native village Bhagtanwala for burial under police protocol. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar paid tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Martyred Sub-Inspector Amir Rizwan. IG Punjab said that Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs and will ensure that the family of the martyr is never left alone.
