Punjab Police Committed for best Health Welfare of Its Force and Their Families
Additional Funds of 29.4 Million rupees Released for Treatment of Police Employees and Their Families.
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, is committed to the health welfare of the police force and their families. In continuation of this commitment, additional funds amounting to Rs. 29,40,000 have been released for the medical treatment of police employees and their families. Punjab Police spokesperson, while providing details, said that Rs. 500,000 were released for the treatment of the heart condition of the widow of the late Senior Clerk Anwar Ali. Retired Assistant Syed Zia Shabbir was provided Rs. 250,000 for treatment of blood cancer. Rs. 225,000 were released for the treatment of cancer for the widow of the late ASI Abdul Waheed. Constable Qamar Abbas was given Rs. 150,000 for medical treatment.
Similarly, Rs. 150,000 each were provided for the treatment of cancer for the widow of the late Sub-Inspector Mukhtar Hussain and the widow of the late retired Constable Shoukat Ali. Constables Shaheryar, Muhammad Nawaz, Muhammad Aslam, and Lady Constable Shakeela Munir were each provided Rs. 100,000 for medical treatment. ASI Ikram Ullah, Traffic Assistant Anwar-ul-Haq, and Senior Clerk Shahzad Rafi were each provided Rs. 100,000 for treatment. Constables Muhammad Bilal, Muhammad Rashid, and Muhammad Zeeshan were collectively provided Rs. 225,000 for medical treatment. Inspector Imran Maqbool, Head Constable Jawad Hussain, and Driver Constable Nadeem Shahid were provided a total of Rs. 220,000 for medical treatment. DSP Muhammad Ismail, Lady Head Constable Masrat Shaheen, and Junior Patrolling Officer Adeel Aadil were collectively provided Rs. 200,000 for treatment. ASI Muhammad Siddique, the widow of the late Constable Fayyaz Ahmad, and retired Constable Muhammad Aslam were collectively provided Rs. 170,000 for medical treatment.
Punjab Police spokesperson further said that IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the release of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that over Rs. 270 million are being spent daily on the welfare of the Punjab Police force and their families, while police employees are also provided with the best medical facilities under MOUs with various institutions.
