Punjab Police committed to providing homes for martyrs’ families.
Family of Shaheed ASI Hamid Naseer provided house worth PKR 17.5 million
“Through IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar’s efforts, the martyr’s family received a house in Faisalabad’s private housing society.
Punjab Police remains committed to providing housing for the families of its martyrs. The family of another martyred officer, Shaheed ASI Hamid Naseer, who laid down his life in the line of duty, has been provided a house worth PKR 17.5 million. Punjab Police spokesperson said that the house, purchased according to the family’s preference, is located in a private housing society in Faisalabad. Through the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Government of Punjab released funds for providing the house to the martyr’s family. It is worth noting that Shaheed ASI Hamid Naseer attained martyrdom in 2022 when he was shot by armed robbers. The martyr’s family includes his wife and one son. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, while paying tribute to the immortal sacrifice of Shaheed ASI Hamid Naseer, said that ASI Hamid Naseer laid down his life while performing his duties without regard for his own safety. He said that Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifice of its brave officer. Dr. Usman Anwar further added that Punjab Police is the custodian of over 1,700 martyrs and the welfare of their families remains the top priority of Punjab Police.
