IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar's directives: Weekly General Parade Held Across the Province.

On the instructions of Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, a weekly general parade was held in Lahore as well as across the province. Senior police officers inspected the general parade, while the contingents participating in the parade saluted. The general parade witnessed full participation of officers and personnel from Police Lines, Dolphin Force, Anti-Riot Force, Traffic Police, Mujahid Squad, SPU, Ladies Police, Investigation Wing, and Operations Wing of various police stations. Punjab Police spokesperson said that during the parade, senior officers also checked the turnout of officers and personnel participating in the parade. The contingents participating in the general parade performed a splendid march past, and female personnel also took part in the parade. The spokesperson further added that general parades are conducted regularly across the province every Monday. On this occasion, district officers also inspected the Kot, Motor Transport Wing, Miscellaneous Stores, Uniform Warehouse, and other relevant departments. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the purpose of the general parade is to keep personnel alert at all times and to promote an environment of discipline, unity, and brotherhood among them. He stated that the parade is the best manifestation of the discipline, history, heritage, and tradition of any force. Through the general parade, officers and personnel maintain their fitness, which further enhances the overall performance of the police force.
