LAHORE : Punjab Police promoted over 6,000 officers and personnel during 2025 under its fast-track promotion policy, officials said on Saturday. According to the police spokesperson, promotions were granted across all ranks, including DSPs, inspectors, sub-inspectors and constables, as well as departmental staff. IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar said the promotion process was carried out transparently to boost morale and improve service delivery. He added that promotion boards for the coming year had already been scheduled and directed personnel to complete service records in time.
