Over 3.844 million citizens benefited from modern digital services.
The Punjab Police has released the impressive annual performance report of its Khidmat Marakaz for 2025. The Punjab Police spokesperson provided details, stating that across the province, over 3.844 million citizens benefited from modern and digital police services through these Marakaz. In 2025, more than 1.668 million citizens underwent general police verification, while 911,280 citizens were issued police character certificates. Similarly, over 472,000 citizens availed the tenancy registration service. Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz issued 167,194 medico-legal certificates, and as part of ongoing measures to protect vulnerable groups, over 139,000 individuals received legal and social assistance. According to the spokesperson, 46,646 citizens had their vehicles verified, more than 100,000 citizens reported lost documents, and 4,764 crime reports were registered. Furthermore, 214,688 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, and 85 women’s violence reports were registered. The spokesperson also stated that over 117,000 citizens registered as employees (ROPE), while 3,572 citizens availed police verification for private employment purposes. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Police Khidmat Marakaz are a flagship project for public service delivery, providing citizens with 24/7 modern, transparent, and fast services. He added that millions of citizens across Lahore and the province benefit from these Marakaz on a monthly basis, and services are continuously upgraded based on public feedback to provide even better and more effective facilities.
