More than 132,000 minority citizens benefited
During the year 2025, the Mesaaq Centers of Punjab Police played a significant role in addressing the issues of minority communities, providing services to more than 132,000 minority citizens across the province. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing the details, said that through the Mesaaq Centers, the issues of 37,348 minority citizens were resolved, while 113,508 individuals were facilitated with services related to Police Khidmat Marakaz. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that 128,867 minority citizens expressed satisfaction with the facilities and services provided by the Mesaaq Centers.
In the provincial capital Lahore, 14,307 minority citizens benefited from the services of Mesaaq Centers during the year. Out of these, the issues of 485 individuals were resolved, while 13,822 citizens were provided services related to Police Khidmat Marakaz. Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Mesaaq Centers are playing a vital role in promoting interfaith harmony by effectively addressing the concerns of minority communities. He added that the Mesaaq Centers ensure prompt and efficient redressal of issues faced by minority citizens. IG Punjab further said that staff comprising Christian officers at Mesaaq Centers are resolving the issues of minority citizens on a priority basis.
