Punjab Police committed to ensuring the best health welfare for the children of its employees.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar releases additional funds amounting to Rs. 2.855 million for the medical treatment of children of police employees suffering from serious illnesses across Lahore and other districts.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to ensuring the best health welfare for the families and children of police employees. In continuation of this commitment, a total amount of Rs. 2.855 million has been released for the medical treatment of children of police employees from Lahore and various other districts.
Punjab Police spokesperson, while sharing details, said that Rs. 1 million has been released to Sub-Inspector Muhammad Talha Ejaz for the medical treatment of his newborn son. An amount of Rs. 0.5 million has been approved for ASI Saleem Ullah for the treatment of his son’s kidney and liver. Head Constable Haider Lodhi has been provided Rs. 250,000 for the treatment of his son’s heart ailment. Funds amounting to Rs. 175,000 have been released to Driver Constable Syed Kashif Ali for the treatment of his son’s cancer.
Similarly, Constables Muhammad Iqbal, Awais Qasim, and Ishtiaq Shahzad have been approved Rs. 100,000 each for the medical treatment of their children. Traffic Warden Muhammad Iqbal and Constable Driver Imran Munir have been provided Rs. 100,000 each for the medical treatment of their children. Sub-Inspector Dildar Ahmad, the widow of late ASI Babar Ali, and Driver Constable Hasnat Ahmad have been given a total of Rs. 168,000 for the medical treatment of their children. Senior Clerk Faisal Imran and Driver Constable Muhammad Ramzan have been provided a total amount of Rs. 150,000 for the medical treatment of their children. Constables Farman Ali and Iqrar Hussain have been released a total of Rs. 112,000 for the medical treatment of their children.
IG Punjab released all the above-mentioned funds after scrutiny and formal approval by the Welfare Management Committee. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the welfare of the families of police employees who remain engaged in the protection of citizens’ lives and properties is the top priority of Punjab Police.
