Punjab Police Intensify Action Against Organized Groups Across Punjab across the province.
During the last 24 hours, 9 operatives of 4 gangs were arrested; weapons, ammunition, vehicles, cash and other items recovered.
Punjab Police is actively engaged against organized groups across the province, including Lahore. In continuation of these efforts, during the last 24 hours, 9 operatives belonging to 4 gangs have been arrested. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing details, said that a total of 93 weapons, including Kalashnikovs, pistols, rifles, revolvers and shotguns, along with hundreds of rounds of ammunition, were recovered from the possession of the accused. Additionally, 02 vehicles, 06 motorcycles, 12 mobile phones, 04 cattle and cash amounting to Rs. 1 million were also recovered from the accused. Punjab Police spokesperson further said that during operations against criminal elements, 01 criminal was sent to his logical end, while 07 criminals were arrested in injured condition. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed that operations against criminal elements across the province be continued with increased speed.
