IG Punjab orders DPO Sargodha for immediate arrest of the accused
Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has taken notice of the incident in which two persons were killed due to firing over a land dispute within the jurisdiction of Police Station Shahpur Saddar, Sargodha, and has sought a report from the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sargodha. The IG Punjab directed the District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha to ensure the immediate arrest of the accused involved in the firing, stating that all available resources should be utilized to apprehend the suspects and bring those involved to justice. According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the deceased have been identified as Daniyal and Hamid Ullah. DPO Sargodha, Sohaib Ashraf, stated that police and forensic teams have collected evidence from the crime scene, and special teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
