Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz Actively Providing Digital Services to Citizens.
Over 3.727 Million Citizens Availed Policing Services from Khidmat Markaz This Year.
Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz are actively engaged in providing modern and digital policing services to citizens. While sharing details, the spokesperson of Punjab Police said that so far this year, more than 3.727 million citizens have obtained various policing services from Police Khidmat Marakaz. Punjab Police spokesperson said that 1,620,591 citizens obtained general police verification, while more than 883,000 citizens received police character certificates. Similarly, 455,856 citizens got tenancy registration done and 163,287 citizens obtained medico-legal certificates. Under the ongoing initiatives for vulnerable segments, more than 134,000 individuals were provided legal and social protection, while more than 45,000 citizens got vehicle verification. Likewise, 95,850 citizens registered reports of lost documents, while 4,649 crime reports were registered.
The spokesperson further said that more than 208,000 citizens obtained copies of FIRs, while 81 women violence reports were registered. Similarly, 111,631 citizens got employees registration (ROPE) done, while 3,479 citizens obtained police verification for private employment. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that Police Khidmat Marakaz are a flagship project of public service delivery where citizens are being provided facilities 24/7. He further said that millions of citizens across the province, including Lahore, are benefiting from the facilities of Police Khidmat Marakaz on a monthly basis, while services are being further upgraded in light of citizens’ feedback.
